Cedarwoods Students In Competitions

We at Cedarwoods are so very proud of these students featured on our Wags & Brags page. They have worked very hard to achieve these awards. Our congratulations to them. Debbie with "Buster" And "Bailey" AKC Companion Dog (CD) Title Buster was my first dog to receive his AKC CD Title. As a novice handler it took us several attempts to complete the title. Buster was very successful after I finally got over my "ring jitters." His first qualifying score was a 182. As I gained confidence so did he scoring a 186 and completing his CD Title with a final score of 194 and a First Place out of 19 dogs. Buster came to us when he was 4 months having been with three other families. He is a gorgeous black lab that has done amazingly well thanks to Debbie's love and training. AKC Companion Dog (CD) Title Bailey received her AKC CD Title in a little different manner for her handler had gained her confidence. She made three consecutive attempts and was successful all three times. On her first attempt she received a 190 on the first day of the show, slipping slightly the second day receiving a 186 and a Third Place out of 12 dogs. Her final score of a 182 completed her Title Bailey came to us as a pup at 8 weeks of age. She is from a well know breeder of hunting dogs by the name of( Chuck Price). Bailey has plenty of company at home with four other labs. The dogs have a wonderful life with five acres to run and play. "Very well done Debbie, with all your dogs, we applaud your success"
