| Our eight-week basic course is designed to produce a steady K-9 companion. This program will teach your dog the following skills. He will be attentive to you, regardless of any distraction, Heel in the proper position with or without a verbal command, Sit automatically when you stop or give a verbal command or hand signal, Down on command and maintain a Sit or Down-Stay and he will understand the command for "Recall," "Stand" and "Finish." |
Furthermore, having learned how to learn, your dog will be prepared for any future training you might desire. There is an amazing variety of activities in the K-9 world, available to both purebred and mixed breed dogs. These include Agility, Cart Pulling, Conformation, Flyball, Frisbee, Guarding, Herding, Hunting, Obedience Trials and Titles, Sled Racing, Tracking, Weight Pulling and and ever-growing list of interesting activities.
